Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how CYBER-DEVS (operated by Martin Yankov, "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use cyber-devs.org and our Counter-Strike 1.6 game servers.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: in-game nickname, account password (used for our servers' login system only), and privilege/purchase history.
- Payment information: we never see or store your card details. All payment data is collected and processed directly by Paddle.com, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. We only receive confirmation of payment, a transaction ID, and the product purchased.
- Technical information: IP address, Steam ID / game client information, and basic server connection logs, used for anti-cheat, security, and troubleshooting purposes.
- Communication data: messages sent through our Tech Support / ticket system, Discord, or similar channels.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and deliver purchased privileges/items to your in-game account.
- To operate, secure, and moderate our game servers and website.
- To respond to support requests and resolve payment or delivery issues.
- To detect and prevent fraud, cheating, and abuse.
4. Payment Processing (Paddle)
Purchases on cyber-devs.org are processed by Paddle.com Limited, acting as our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes your payment details, billing address, and tax information directly — this data is governed by Paddle's own Privacy Policy, not by us. We only receive the minimum data needed to deliver your purchase (transaction ID, product/price ID, and the custom reference token you generated at checkout).
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with:
- Paddle.com, for payment processing;
- Our game server infrastructure providers, to the extent necessary to operate the servers;
- Law enforcement or regulators, if legally required.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and purchase records for as long as necessary to provide our services, resolve disputes, and comply with legal/tax obligations (including Paddle's own retention requirements as Merchant of Record).
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us through the Tech Support section of the website. Note that some data (e.g. transaction records held by Paddle) may need to be requested from Paddle directly, as they are the data controller for payment information.
